Cedar Park Road Construction Update May 2006

New Hope Drive

• Widen to four-lane roadway with center turn lane, raised medians at major intersections and sidewalks.
• Expected completion October 2007.

RM 1431/US 183 – Intersection

• Jointly funded between city and TxDOT.
• Six-lane intersection with addition of dual left turn lanes and free right turn lanes at each leg of intersection.
• Expected completion April 2006.

Anderson Mill Road South

• Construction of 2300 linear ft of a four-lane divided roadway.
• South end connects to new section that follows current FM 2769.
• Realignment of FM 2769 to form a T-intersection with proposed Anderson Mill Rd.
• Open to public in October 2006.

Park Street/ US 183 - Intersection

• Installation of turn lanes on Park Street at intersection with US 183.

East Park Street Extension

• Completed in April 2006.

El Salido Parkway

• Two-lane roadway with curb and gutter, buried storm sewer system and wide outside shoulders for bike traffic.
• Expected to begin in August 2006 and complete by January 2007.

East Little Elm Trail – Kent Street Realignment

• Realignment and reconstruction of East Little Elm Trail at the intersection of US 183 to increase mobility and safety at the intersection.
