More names needed
The LISD Board of Trustees invites the public to propose names for two new campuses. One, the district’s seventh middle school, will open in the fall of 2009 and the other, the fifth high school, will open in 2010. Both will be located south of the 3M facility off RM 2222. Guidelines state campuses may be named for historic sites, deceased individuals, events or people who have made a contribution to the district. Proposals should include a description of the significance of the name. Send suggestions to Bill Britcher, P.O. Box 218, Leander, TX, 78646 or bill.britcher@leanderisd.org by May 26.
