Leander Independent School District students will be released early Sept. 17 for teacher and staff training.

LISD elementary campuses will let out at noon, middle schools will end the day at 1:20 p.m. and high school students will be released at 1 p.m.

Buses will run regular afternoon routes at the early release times.

This early release day is one of three the district will use to replace one of its inservice days this school year. The other planned early release days are Oct. 8 and Nov. 5.
