The Texas Stars, Cedar Park’s new American Hockey League team, will announce the selection for team general manager Nov. 19. The team, which will be the primary development affiliate for the Dallas Stars, will play in the 2009-2010 season at the Cedar Park Entertainment Center.

Brett Hull, Dallas Stars co-general manager, will make the announcement at 1 p.m. at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, 1401 Medical Parkway in Cedar Park.

The general manger will be responsible for recruiting, scouting, and other personnel issues.

The Texas Stars will be the primary tenant of the Cedar Park Center, which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2009.
