1. Neighborhood Florist

2. Library Expansion
Construction of the Spicewood Springs Branch Library expansion project at 8637 Spicewood Springs Road is now complete. The grand reopening ceremony will be March 31 beginning at 10 a.m. For more information call 258-9070.
3. Cleaner’s Grand Opening
The locally-owned-and-operated Austin Cleaners at 7318 McNeil Road celebrated its grand opening on March 19. Environmentally-friendly, Austin Cleaners is PERC free. Hours of Operation are Mon-Fri 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sat 10 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information call 219-6959.
4. The Park at Aspen Lake
Construction began March 10 on a 5 -7 year project named Park at Aspen Lake. Aspen Properties will add 1.6 million sq. ft. to the already existing 174,000 sq. ft. of property at US 183 and RM 620. 6. Austin Commons
Construction has begun on a 100,000 sq. ft. mixed-use office and retail center at the corner of Burnet Road and Kramer Lane, near the newly opened Domain shopping center. 7. New Office Complex
Set to open this spring, Research Park Plaza at 12515 Research Blvd. will include 250,000 sq. ft. of office space. The location will be next door to Research Park which is home to such businesses as Lennar, Emerson, Cyber Trade, Motive, Tyco and Solectron. For leasing information, call 474-9900.
8. Arboretum Changes
- Banana Republic and Tommy Bahama have moved their Arboretum stores into the Domain.
- The Gap has moved next door and taken over the lease from Banana Republic.
- Chico’s is expanding its space and moving into the old Gap location.
- Borders Books on Great Hills Trail moved its store to the Arboretum.
9. Broadcasting School
The Connecticut School of Broadcasting is now registering students for the April 26 opening of their sixteenth campus. 12. Prominent Pointe II
Aspen properties began construction in early March on Prominent Pointe II in the hills of Northwest Austin. The 105,000 sq. ft., Class A office building is slated for completion by the first quarter of 2008. It features a three-story office building that includes a 2,500 sq. ft. fitness center along with a restaurant/deli for tenants.
