An update on local area toll roads
Portions of Toll 130 started opening in late 2006 with the most recent opening on September 6 expanding the new toll road from IH 35 North of Georgetown to Hwy. 71 at Austin Bergstrom International Airport. This is the first highway in Texas to be developed under a Comprehensive Development Agreement, which permits property acquisition, design and construction to occur at the same time. Lone Star Infrastructure is overseeing the project, expected to be completed December 2007. Traveling Toll 130 is currently free and will remain so for TxTag customers until January 1, cash customers must start paying in November.

- Mileage: 56 miles
- Time Trial: Parmer Lane to the Airport - 14 minutes
Toll 45 starts in Cedar Park at RM 620 and US 183 and stretches all the way to Toll 130 past Pflugerville. The $550 million project was financed through the 2002 Central Texas Turnpike Project. Motorists first traveled Toll 45 on November 1, 2006 and saw the project completed in April 2007. Fees were waived until July 2007.

Toll 1 extends MoPac from Parmer Lane to Toll 45 and was opened as a part of the initial grand opening of the central Texas toll roads in November 2006. The six-lane divided highway more efficiently links MoPac to Williamson County and offers limited frontage roads.
