Tiff's Treats, an Austin-based cookie delivery service, opened a new store at 11011 Research Blvd. in Northwest Austin.
The store had a grand-opening charity event selling more than 1,800 dozen cookies throughout the day.
All proceeds of the $2 per dozen cookies went toward the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and South Texas in an effort grant the wish of three-year old Wish Kid Jordyn, a girl from Austin with Aicardi Syndrome who wished to go to Disney World.
Tiff's Treats has been delivering warm, fresh cookies to Austin homes for nearly 10 years and opened a location in Dallas in 2006. The store, which was started by two University of Texas students in 1999, sells a variety of cookies including chocolate chip, peanut butter, white chocolate and almond, butterscotch chip, M&M, sugar, oatmeal raisin, oatmeal chocolate chip and snickerdoodles.
