Pecan Street - Pflugerville

Construction to expand Pecan Street to a four- and six- lane divided roadway from Immanuel Road to Toll 130 will begin in June. Expected completion date is December 2008.

Heatherwilde will be extended from Howard Lane to Wells Branch Parkway as a four-lane divided roadway in June. Construction is expected to be completed December 2008.

Improvements to Hesters Crossing will begin in May and are expected to be completed within 18 months.

Improvements include:

Realigning the Hesters Crossing Bridge and adding

two lanes

Realigning the Mays Street-Dell Way intersection

Adding a new northbound frontage road lane

City of Round Rock & TxDOT Project

Grand Avenue Parkway - Pflugerville

Construction crews are working on improvements to the intersection of Grand Avenue Parkway and IH 35. This includes:

Adding a new turn lane

Improving the sewer/storm system

New signal lights

The project is expected to be completed late November depending on weather conditions. Road crews are also widening the southbound frontage road north of Grand Avenue Parkway to approximately half a mile south of Wells Branch Parkway.

TxDOT Project

A.W. Grimes Boulevard - Round Rock

A.W. Grimes Blvd. from Gattis School Road to Hwy. 79 will be open for public use in June. Minor road improvements will continue to be made after the road is open until the end of July.
