In June, the 2008 Citizen’s Bond Committee presented their final report assessing the need for a future bond to the Round Rock School Board. The committee recommended $293 million in projects, including three new schools and land purchases for future schools.

New campuses opening this month will help relieve crowding at Round Rock schools. The first students start school Aug. 26 at Callison Elementary, Sommer Elementary, Teravista Elementary and Walsh Middle schools.
