1. Cele barbecues again

Cele General Store, which closed in December 2007 after 115 years in business, reopened last month by the same family at the same location, 18726 Cameron Road. Lunch is served starting at 10:30 a.m. Saturdays. Dinner is served from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturdays, by reservation only. For reservations, call 251-3562.

Marriage prep

The cost of a marriage license in Texas is now more expensive for couples who have not taken a state-sponsored marital education course, "Twogether in Texas." In Williamson County, a couple with proof they have taken the course pays $7 for a license or $67 if they have not. Visit www.twogetherintexas.com.

2. Enhance Salon and Spa

3. Operation Share A Hug

In celebration of National Teddy Bear Day Nov. 15, Beary Cute Stuffables is holding a stuffed animal donation drive starting Oct. 1 called Operation Share A Hug benefiting Williamson County’s domestic violence and sexual assault program, Hope Alliance. 4. New dog daycare

5. Free for single moms

Christian Brothers Automotive, 413 Louis Henna Blvd., is giving away free oil changes for single mothers Oct. 18. Appointments are available every five minutes from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and space is limited. Volunteers will also vacuum and wash cars. 6. Library closed for facelift

The Round Rock Public Library, 216 E. Main Ave., will be closed for renovations from Oct. 1 through Nov. 2. New carpet, tile, paint and other improvements will be made to the facility. 7. Equine enthusiasts

After 24 years of business in Dripping Springs, The Leading Rein relocated to Round Rock in August. Located at 2000-A Picadilly Drive, the riding equipment store offers apparel, tack, gifts and accessories. Call 458-6637 or visit www.theleadingrein.com.

8. New gun store

9. Sunshades

Locally owned Auto Recon expanded its automotive window film treatment business to now offer residential and commercial window tinting, blinds, shades and shutters. 10. Pflugerville Town Center

SCC Development is clearing land for retail sites and extending Pfennig Lane into the development east of FM 685. A fast-food restaurant is working with the city to secure necessary permits, and pad sites are still available. Visit www.sccdevelopment.com.

11. Multifamily feedback

The Pflugerville City Council appointed a committee to propose changes to the development standards for multifamily developments such as apartments and condominiums. The Pflugerville Council of Neighborhood Associations will host a public meeting Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Pflugerville Justice Center, 1611 E. Pfennig Lane. 12. Last farmers market

The first year of the Pflugerville Farmers Market ends Oct. 28 with a harvest day celebration. Vendors' business cards will be available at the information booth for those interested in produce deliveries in the market's off-season. The farmers market, which has been open since May, will be held every Tuesday this month from 3-7 p.m. in downtown Pflugerville at the old gin property, 500 E. 13. Kung Fu tea

Formosa Art Tea House, 200 E. Pecan St., Ste. 5, will host a Chinese oil painting exhibition featuring the works of Run Zhang from Oct. 8 to Nov. 8. 14. Pfall Chili Pfest

Community organizations and families can register teams for the Pflugerville Pfall Chili Pfest scheduled for Nov. 8 from noon-9 p.m in downtown Pflugerville. 15. Oil change
