1. Salon moves to Renaissance Square
SunKiss’d Beauty Salon has moved into the Renaissance Square at 1401 S. IH 35, Ste. 200. The salon, owned by manicurist Kim Salinas, also offers acupuncture treatment and laser hair removal. Cande Dominguez, Deana Ritchie and Bonnie Wagoner, hair stylists, are still with the salon. Walk-ins are welcome for nail and hair care. For appointments, call 828-0600.
2. Salon and Spa Adds New Location
The Beauty Store Salon & Spa, an Austin-based company, opened a new location at the intersection of RM 620 and IH 35. The store is a full-service salon that offers almost 30 brands of professional salon products, along with a selection of jewelry and gifts. For more information, call 733-8333.
3. Women’s Club Gala
The Chaparral Women’s Club is entering its 38th year of community service and fundraising for Round Rock area organizations. This year’s major fundraising event, “Puttin’ On the Ritz Chaparral’s Gala 2007,” is scheduled for March 3 at the Marriott Hotel, 2600 La Frontera Blvd. Tickets are $125 per couple, which includes dinner, cocktails, a silent and live auction and entertainment by The Sophisticates. 4. Physical Therapy Clinic Opens
Therapy in Motion will host their grand opening Feb. 8, 5:30-7 p.m. The new physical therapy clinic is located at 2301 Red Bud Lane, Ste. 300, across from Albertson’s. For more information, call 248-1200.
5. Community Choir Performance
The Round Rock Community Choir will host a Casual Classic Concert, Feb. 3, 7:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church at the corner of Hwy. 79 and Mays Street. The formal concert will have a mixture of classical and fine choral music. Bring a canned good for the community food pantry.
6. Tax Agency Ready for Service
A CPA agency, Tax Express, opened in Cirkiel Commons across from H-E-B at 1901 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Ste. 217. The firm specializes in accounting/book-keeping, tax preparation and payroll services. For more information, call 255-2077.
7. Family Fitness Opportunity
Tri TX 2 Step will host a family race event, Feb. 11, at 8 a.m. Register early to participate in the Chili Du and Parent 1 Miler, held at the Round Rock Premium Outlets. 9. Unique Food Store Opens
