Q. What inspired you to run for office?

A. After serving on the Brushy Creek MUD board for four years, I thought my area of the county needed a fresh voice and a new perspective on the commissioners court.

Q. What is the greatest challenge facing your precinct?

A. Our greatest challenge continues to be phenomenal growth.

Q. What do you think people should know about county government?

A. County government is responsible for building and maintaining roads, maintaining an effective justice system and many other duties. Counties are political subdivisions of state government, and counties only have the power to do what the state legislature has given them specific power to do.
