Q. What inspired you to run for office?
A. I have never been in public office, but have been active in the community for a good portion of my life. I thought it would be a good way to serve the community and the county.
Q. What is the greatest challenge facing your precinct?
A. The main challenges the county faces are growth and transportation. We have to find ways of handling the growth and keep the county moving. To overcome these challenges, I have become a good listener who represents my constituents; I am the conduit for constituents’ concerns.
Q. What do you think people should know about county government?
A. Our biggest jobs are setting the budget, setting the tax rate, keeping the county safe and maintaining a high quality of life.
